A show we shoot and edit: #1 is a panel discussion filmed at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Asheville, North Carolina in 2008.

 My 60-minute show, "The Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands" won second in its category at the recent URTV 'Urty' Awards. And I am now sending it out to some film festivals. Here's a 2-minute trailer I did for the submission process:

In this episode, regular interview Keynon Lake explores the faith-based work of ReCreation Experiences -- which fixes up, at no cost, the homes of the elderly and disadvantaged. Our appreciation to the Stephens-Lee High School Alumni and Hall of Fame Committee, Asheville, North Carolina. Saturday night, July 5 2008, they awarded us a Community Service award and plaque for our part in "The Mighty Heroes of Stephens-Lee High School" -- the documentary film we directed and edited this year. We also filmed this event.

On Saturday, June 28, Pat and I filmed the Western Carolina Amateur Radio Society's Field Day on the grounds of Asheville's VA Medical Center. 'Field Day' is an annual nationwide test of emergency communications by ham radio operators. Hams provide communications in natural disasters and other emergencies -- Hurricane Katrina is a recent example. This is a 30-minute documentary on this Field Day exercise.

This small but beautiful waterfall is located near Oliver Springs, TN. We filmed this on May 23, 2008 using Sony V1U and HC1 cameras for our series, "Waterfalls of the Southern Highlands."
