These scenic falls are located in the mountains of Western North Carolina near Balsam Grove on Hwy 215 in Transylvania County, "The Land of Waterfalls." This 3-minute film was shot in 2007 using a Sony HC1 by Ralph and Pat Roberts. This is part of our ongoing series, "Waterfalls of the Southern Highlands." ... this Cascades on the Upper French Broad segment is a work in progress (i.e. voice over still to be added) but the incredible beauty of this natural wonder stands on its own.
